Jessup
Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition is the oldest and largest moot court on International Public Law. The competition dates back to 1959 and is known as "Jessup". The moot court is very well known and very prestigious especially among American Universities. Each country can be represented by one team only, certain rules apply for the U.S.
In Denmark you can study law at The University of Copenhagen, The University of Aarhus and The University of Southern Denmark. If more Universities participate in the competition a regional final will take place in the spring. The winning team of the regional round will proceed to the international rounds in Washington D.C in April.
In the last couple of years no regional round has taken place as the other universities have not participated in the competition and thus the team from the University of Copenhagen has proceeded directly to the competition in Washington D.C.
Further information can be found on the moot's course page.
