Jean-Pictet

The Jean-Pictet Competition is organized by the Comité pour le Concours Jean-Pictet with the support of well-known institutions like The international Committee of the Red Cross and United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

The Competition involves students from universities of law, political science and military schools aiming at improving their knowledge of international humanitarian law through role-plays and simulations

The competition is divided into two separate competitions, a French and an English. 24 teams are selected for the English session and 24 teams for the French session. Only one team can participate from a given university, i.e. either an English team or a French team is sent to the competition from the University of Copenhagen.  A team consist of three students.
