How to apply

All participants take part in a local initial competition held at the University of Copenhagen. The two winning teams proceed to the national competition where they will compete against the winning teams from other Danish university/ies.

It is only the winning team from the national competition that proceeds to the INC competition abroad. Even if you only get to the first local competition, you will still benefit from participating. You get to evaluate your own performance in front of the judging panel, and you also get a brief feedback as well as the written judging sheets.

You can only get credits for your participation if you are among the two winning teams selected for the national competition and take the individual oral exam afterwards. If one of these teams wins the national competition they will proceed to the competition abroad.

The team representing the Faculty abroad will receive coaching in negotiation techniques and rhetoric prior to the international competition. Likewise, coached case analysis and mock negotiation towards sparring teams will be part of the preparation. Also, during the competition the team will receive coaching both before and after each negotiation round.

Further information can be found on the course page.
