The examination

If you have taken part in an international moot court, you can choose to take an exam based on the case.

  • Graduate students can choose to transfer credit points from the exam as either 10 or 20 ECTS points. In other words as either one or two course subjects. You can also choose not to transfer the credit points from your exam.

  • If you are a BSc student, the exam can count as your BSc thesis. If you have already written your BSc thesis, you can gain ECTS points for participating in a moot court if you obtain dispensation from the Curriculum Board. Students admitted on the 2001 curriculum, cannot cancel their BSc thesis by participating in INC. However, they may seek dispensation from the Curriculum Committee to transfer 10 ECTS points to their graduate programme.

Exam formPen

The exam is based on the given moot court case and is based on the material involved in the moot court. The exam is usually carried out as an oral exam with no preparation time.

If a team does not participate in the international procedure competition, the exam can still be held if the advisors feel the individual student has made a satisfactory effort. In this case, the credit points from the exam may be transferred as 10 ECTS points.
