The road to victory in this year's International Negotiation Competition (INC) is coated with seriousness and good arguments. It soon became apparent when the students began the final rounds of the INC yesterday. Each student took a convincing role as a lawyer and representative of his or her client(s).

During the final rounds, the students are given three different cases, all stemming from problems taken from reality-based international negotiations. The students participate in teams of two and each team has assigned a coach. Based on each case, the teams themselves must identify which legal and business disciplines the individual case requires.

The purpose of the negotiations is to train the students’ abilities in professional international negotiation outside the court systems. The team, which carries through the most convincing proceedings for the judges in the competition, ends up as the winner of this year's International Negotiation Competition 2011.

This year's judges
The judges in the final rounds are all experienced negotiators in both a national and an international context.

The judges evaluate the students' efforts and declare the winner on Friday 1 July 2011.
